Fees and CSP

Indicative fee per year in 2027: $18,025 (Commonwealth Supported Place)

This fee is a guide only, based on a typical full-time study load, and does not include materials, such as textbooks, or the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).

Each unit has an associated cost. Your final student contribution amount will be the total cost of the units you select, which may be higher or lower than the fee listed here depending on the units you choose.

If you are not eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place, you will pay the full cost of each unit.

A student’s fee may vary depending on:

  • The number of units studied per term.
  • Choice of units.
  • Credit from previous study or work experience.
  • Eligibility for government-funded loans.

You may also need to pay the student services and amenities fee.

Student fees shown are subject to change. Contact the university directly to confirm.

Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP)

If you're enrolled in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the Australian Government pays part of your fees while you pay the remaining student contribution.

Your student contribution is calculated according to the units you enrol in and the study areas they relate to, and is reviewed annually.

HECS-HELP loans are available to eligible CSP students to pay their student contribution.

VU currently publishes $18,025 per year for 2027 for this course. It does not publish a 2027 domestic full-fee annual amount on the course page, so I would remove the old $34,500 (2026) line rather than updating it without a verified figure.
