Course overview

The Master of Business Administration (Change Management) at Victoria University combines advanced business study with specialised knowledge in organisational change and transformation. You will examine how organisations respond to uncertainty, technological change and evolving business conditions while building broader skills in strategy, leadership, finance and management.

Across 12 units, you will complete four specialist Change Management units alongside eight core MBA units. Specialist study covers agile project and change management, organisational change, technological change and innovation and managing change and complexity. Core study includes strategy, ethics and sustainability, marketing, financial analysis, human resource management, innovation, leadership and a Business Consulting capstone.

Delivered 100% online through VU Online, the course can be completed in a minimum of two years part-time. You study one unit at a time over seven-week study periods, with six study periods available each year.

This degree includes four specialist change management units and eight core business units. You will also complete a practical, multi-faceted capstone project. Each unit of study lasts for seven weeks.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have one of the following requirements:

  • Completion of an Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a similar discipline.
  • Completion of an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in a similar discipline.
  • Applicants without an undergraduate qualification may first be admitted to the Graduate Certificate in Change Management based on a minimum of five years of approved work experience. Upon completion of the Graduate Certificate, graduates will be eligible for admission to this course with credit granted for completed units.
