The Graduate Certificate in Finance at Victoria University provides focused postgraduate study in financial analysis, accounting and corporate finance. You will examine how organisations assess financial performance, make investment and financing decisions and manage financial risk in changing business environments.
Across four core units, you will explore financial statement analysis, accounting and financial management, corporate finance and advanced finance. Study covers areas such as valuation, capital budgeting, financing decisions and risk management, with practical case studies used to apply financial concepts to organisational decision-making.
Delivered 100% online through VU Online’s Block Model, the course is studied part-time over a minimum of eight months. You complete one seven-week unit at a time, with approximately 20 hours of study recommended per week, and can commence in any of six study periods throughout the year.
To attain the Graduate Certificate in Finance, students are required to complete 48 credit points of core units.
