The Graduate Certificate in Business at Victoria University offers a flexible introduction to postgraduate business study, allowing you to tailor the qualification to your professional goals. You can choose units across areas such as business administration, finance, financial planning, change management, human resources and leadership.

Rather than following a fixed set of subjects, you select four units from VU Online’s current business unit options. Depending on your choices, you can strengthen knowledge in areas such as marketing, analytics, strategic management, finance, organisational change, human resource management or leadership and apply your learning to workplace and industry contexts.

Delivered 100% online through VU Online’s Block Model, the course is studied part-time over a minimum of eight months. You complete one seven-week unit at a time, with approximately 20 hours of study recommended per week, and can begin in any of six study periods throughout the year.

Applicants must have one of the following:
