What you will study

Students must complete a total of 96 credit points made up of 15 subjects, comprising twelve core subjects (72 credit points), two electives subjects (12 credit points) and either Industry Research Project or Internship Experience (12 credit points).

Each subject is valued at six credit points unless otherwise stated.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for admission to this course, applicants must meet the following criteria.

Academic requirements

Applicants must have the following:

  • Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, with more than 75 per cent of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included).

Applicants who do not meet the criteria above should consider applying for the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.

English language requirements

The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is:

  • IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0.
  • TOEFL iBT: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21.
  • AE5: Pass.
  • PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50.
  • C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.

Eligibility for admission does not guarantee offer of a place.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students may be granted a maximum of six subject exemptions, of which four core subjects may be approved from prior undergraduate study. Contact the university for more details.

Fees and FEE-HELP

Estimated tuition fee per session in 2025: $18,615 (domestic full-fee paying place)

The estimated fee is calculated based on a study load of 24 credit points per session.

Tuition fees are charged:

  • Based on the particular course in which you are enrolled.
  • Based on the number of credit points in which you are enrolled.
  • At the rates set for the current year and revised annually.

In addition to tuition fees, students are required to pay a Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The purchase of textbooks and other course materials may also result in additional costs.
