The Master of Business Analytics (Extension) is a unique transdisciplinary program of study in business analytics. With subjects drawn from UTS Business School, the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the TD School, students are provided with a course structure which fits their background and experience, as well as flexible specialisations to meet new needs and career interests.

The course totals 96 credit points and consists of a combination of core (72 credit points) and elective subjects (24 credit points). Each subject is valued at six credit points, unless otherwise stated.

Entry requirements
Applicants must have the following:
- Completed Australian bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or overseas equivalent, in a related field of study with more than 75% of all subjects completed at pass level (conceded pass not included).
Related fields of study:
Accounting, banking, commerce, computer engineering, computer science, data science, economics, finance, information systems, management, marketing, project management or other related field of study (e.g. engineering) with sufficient background in business, databases or computer programming.
Applicants who do not meet the criteria above should consider applying for the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics.
English language requirements
The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is:
- IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0.
- TOEFL iBT: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21.
- AE5: Pass.
- PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50.
- C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.

Fees and FEE-HELP
Estimated tuition fee per session in 2025: $16,820 (domestic full-fee paying place)
The estimated fee is calculated based on a study load of 24 credit points per session.
Tuition fees are charged:
- Based on the particular course in which you are enrolled.
- Based on the number of credit points in which you are enrolled.
- At the rates set for the current year and revised annually.
In addition to tuition fees, students are required to pay a Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF). The purchase of textbooks and other course materials may also result in additional costs.
