Course overview

This course suits professionals seeking broader development knowledge, including those bringing experience from property, construction, real estate, trades and other parts of the built environment.

Study how feasibility is modelled and how property transactions contribute to a development opportunity. Examine construction technology and regulation to understand the requirements affecting what can be delivered. The development process provides the connecting framework, helping you consider how these different elements influence a proposal and its progression.

The curriculum focuses on key development foundations, giving you a structured way to examine the knowledge you already use and the areas you want to understand more closely. It offers a shorter postgraduate option within the property development discipline. The qualification can stand alone or provide a pathway into the UTS Master of Property Development. Further study offers broader coverage of development finance, valuation, market analysis and elective areas.
