Entry requirements
Academic requirements
To be eligible for entry, you'll need one of the following:
- The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from UQ.
- The Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership from UQ.
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline and four years of full-time equivalent, relevant work experience.
You must have a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 on a 7-point scale in your previous qualification. International applicants must have completed the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) with a minimum score of 550.
Relevant work experience
Relevant work experience should typically be post-graduation, and include two years in a dedicated supervisory/management role (of people or projects).
English language requirements
For international students, you must demonstrate that you meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- IELTS overall 6.5; reading 6; writing 6; speaking 6; listening 6. For other English Language Proficiency Tests and Scores approved for UQ.
- TOEFL iBT (including Paper Edition) - Overall 87, listening 19, reading 19, writing 21 and speaking 19.
- PTE Academic - Overall Score of 64 and 60 in all sub bands.
- BE - A minimum overall grade of 4 plus a minimum grade of C in all macro skills.
- CES - Overall 176 and 169 in all sub bands.
OET is not accepted.

Recognition of Prior Learning
This program is subject to the following credit limits in conjunction with PPL 3.50.03 Credit for Previous Studies and Recognised Prior Learning:
- The maximum credit that may be granted for previous studies is eight units.
