Graduate Certificate in Business Psychology
- Delivery: Online
- Study Level: Postgraduate
- Duration: 12 months part-time
- Course Type: Graduate Certificate
Use psychological science to strengthen workplace leadership, performance and collaboration through interdisciplinary online study, with a pathway to further qualification rather than registration as a psychologist.
Course overview
Understanding how people think, feel and act can change how organisations approach leadership, performance and collaboration. The University of Queensland’s Graduate Certificate in Business Psychology is designed for professionals who want to apply psychological principles in the workplace without pursuing registration as a psychologist.
You will examine human behaviour, motivation and performance alongside the psychology of people at work and ethical, sustainable human resource strategies. The course explores how psychological insights can inform decisions under pressure, support safer and more engaging workplaces and contribute to the leadership of high-performing teams. Its interdisciplinary curriculum includes coursework developed in partnership with UQ Business School.
Delivered online over one year of part-time study, each course combines live online sessions with interactive self-paced modules and opportunities to connect with peers. The qualification provides foundational knowledge for progression towards further study, including UQ’s Master of Business Psychology, but does not qualify graduates to register or practise as psychologists.
