Course overview
The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (HRM) is designed for career advancement in or retraining into HRM or People and Culture roles. The curriculum provides an overview of management processes and organisational behaviour, blending fundamental perspectives with contemporary analyses to equip students with robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, you may enrol in the Master of Human Resource Management and will be eligible for credit for the four subjects completed within the graduate certificate.

Academic requirements
To be considered for the course, students must have one of the following:
- A recognised bachelor's or master's degree.
- A tertiary academic qualification with duration of at least three years’ full-time equivalent plus three years’ full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience.
The Faculty will consider applicants with other tertiary qualifications, or those with at least five years of relevant full-time professional work experience.

Commonwealth Supported Places
The Australian Government allocates a certain number of CSPs to the universities each year, which are then distributed to students based on merit.
If you're a Commonwealth Supported Student (CSS), you'll only need to pay a portion of your tuition fees. This is known as the student contribution amount – the balance once the government subsidy is applied. This means your costs are much lower.
Limited CSP spaces are offered to students enrolled in selected postgraduate courses.

- Dependent on the study areas they relate to.
- Reviewed and adjusted each year.
HECS-HELP loans are available to CSP students to pay the student contribution amount.
