  • Study Level: Postgraduate
  • Duration: 24 months
  • Course Type: Master's

Develop strategic decision-making, financial, marketing and people management capabilities while tailoring your studies through broad elective choices or a focused specialisation.

Course overview

The Master of Management at UNSW is designed for professionals seeking broad business knowledge and the capabilities to manage people, performance and organisational change. Delivered through the Australian Graduate School of Management, the program supports both emerging managers and professionals preparing for broader leadership responsibilities.

Explore contemporary management through strategy, financial decision-making, marketing, economics, analytics, digital technology, organisational behaviour and business law. You can shape your learning around your professional goals, drawing electives from areas including strategy and innovation, finance, digital business, analytics and people management.

Follow a general pathway with a broad choice of electives or complete a specialisation in Business Law or Leadership and Organisational Development. A compulsory strategic consulting project brings together your learning through the analysis of a business challenge.

Delivered fully online and part time, the program can be completed in two years, with one seven-week course studied at a time. Career directions may include general management, operations management, management consulting, business analysis and team leadership.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank UNSW and all course convenors for their time and effort devoted during my study journey. The program helped level up my strategic view and insight, upgrade my skillsets and broaden my knowledge.
