Course overview

The Master of Human Resource Management (Human Resource Analytics) at UNSW is designed for professionals seeking to use workforce data and digital HR systems to support evidence-based people decisions.

Develop foundational knowledge of HR strategy, workplace policy, people management and employment law while building capabilities in data analysis, human resource analytics and HR information systems. The specialisation examines how data can be collected, interpreted and communicated to understand workforce patterns, organisational performance and employee outcomes.

The 12-course program combines foundational HR study with a specialisation in Human Resource Analytics. Elective options allow you to extend your capabilities across talent management, employee wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, leadership, organisational development, performance and change. You may also follow an approved study plan leading to a second specialisation.

Delivered fully online and part time, the program can be completed in two years. The Master of Human Resource Management is accredited by the Australian HR Institute (AHRI). Career directions may include HR analytics, people analytics, workforce planning, HR systems, employee insights, talent analytics and remuneration analytics.
