Course overview
he Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Organisational Development at UNSW is designed for early- to mid-career professionals in HR, people and culture or leadership roles seeking to guide workplace change and strengthen organisational capability.
You’ll examine how leadership can be developed across organisations and how workplace culture, structures and processes influence organisational effectiveness. The program builds foundational capability to connect purpose and values with leadership practice, consider approaches to organisational development and support change across teams, departments and broader organisations.
Elective choice enables the leadership and organisational development focus to be complemented by learning in HR strategy, employment law, diversity and inclusion, employee wellbeing, analytics, talent or change management. This allows the qualification to reflect individual professional priorities while retaining a consistent focus on leadership capability and workplace development.
Delivered entirely online, the qualification can be completed part-time in approximately eight months. It may support developing responsibilities in organisational development, leadership development, workplace culture and change support. Graduates who achieve a minimum WAM of 65 can progress into the UNSW Master of Human Resource Management.
