Course overview
The Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Analytics at UNSW is designed for HR professionals, aspiring analysts and professionals seeking foundational capability at the intersection of workforce management, data and digital HR systems.
You’ll learn to analyse data, identify workforce trends and communicate evidence-based insights that can inform organisational decision-making. By connecting analytical methods with human resource information systems, the program builds an understanding of how workforce data can support the investigation of people-related challenges.
An elective provides scope to complement the analytics focus with learning in human resource strategy, employment law, diversity and inclusion, leadership, organisational development or another approved area. This enables the qualification to reflect individual professional interests while retaining a consistent foundation in HR analytics.
Delivered entirely online, the qualification can be completed part-time in approximately eight months, with one course studied at a time. It may support capability development in people analytics, HR reporting, workforce insights and HR information systems. Graduates who achieve the required academic standard can pursue further study in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Analytics at UNSW.
The course was really well designed, and comprehensive. It was really great to see the emphasis on AI in the workplace both from the broader perspective as well as for HR, as these are very present and real impacts.
