The Master of Business Administration (Executive) program is led by globally renowned academics and industry experts who’ll focus on building your strategy and leadership skills while providing a thorough grounding in core business disciplines.
This program is designed for current or aspiring leaders who wish to progress into C-suite and senior leadership roles. Coursework can be completed online or through a combination of online and face-to-face learning, to provide total flexibility for busy working professionals.

What you will study
To earn the AGSM Master of Business Administration (Executive), students must complete 72 units of credit or 12 courses. Each course is worth six units of credit.
Compulsory courses
Complete the following for 12 units of credit:
- Leadership (starter course)
- Strategy
Core courses
Complete three courses for 18 units of credit:
- Accounting and Financial Management
- Corporate Finance
- Data Analytics and Decision-making
- Managing People and Organisations
- Marketing Management
Executive courses
Complete the following four courses for 24 units of credit:
- Executive Strategy: Growth and Innovation
- Executive Strategy: Disruption and Transformation
- Executive Leadership Immersion
- Executive Accelerator
Entry requirements
- A strong bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) and a minimum of five years of professional/managerial work experience. If you do not hold a bachelor’s degree, you may be eligible for the AGSM Graduate Certificate in Management, a pathway program into the MBA (Executive).
- You will need a minimum of six years of professional or managerial work experience to apply for the AGSM Graduate Certificate in Management.
Please note that five years of post-graduate work experience is an absolute minimum requirement for entry. Most of the MBA (Executive) students have on average around 11 years of work experience.
English language requirements
If English isn’t your first language, you may be required to provide evidence that your English language ability meets the university's requirements. Contact the university for further information. If you do need to provide evidence of your English proficiency, this will be indicated in your application.
You can prove this by providing evidence that you meet one or more of the following criteria:
- English language tests and university English courses.
- Prior study in the medium of English.

Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have completed a study prior to enrolling at UNSW, you may be eligible for a credit transfer. If approved, you can earn credit towards your current degree and shorten the length of your studies.

Fees and FEE-HELP
Indicative first-year full fee in 2025: $29,000 (domestic full-fee paying place)
Indicative full fee to complete the degree in 2025: $90,500 (domestic full-fee paying place)

The amount you pay will vary depending on the calendar year of enrolment, the courses you select and whether your study load is more or less than one equivalent full-time student load (48 units of credit per year).
