AGSM Graduate Certificate in Leadership
- Delivery: Face to Face
- Study Level: Postgraduate
- Duration: 8 months
- Course Type: Graduate Certificate
Strengthen your leadership capability through a program that develops strategic thinking, communication and decision-making for today's complex business environments.
Course overview
UNSW’s AGSM Graduate Certificate in Leadership supports experienced professionals and practising managers who want to develop a more considered and adaptable approach to leadership. The program examines the judgement, communication and critical thinking required to lead people and contribute to organisational decisions in complex business environments.
Students investigate how individuals, groups and organisational structures affect performance, then tailor their development through elective study. Available areas include change management, negotiation, innovation, project management, sustainable business and managerial decision-making. This flexibility allows students to connect leadership development with their professional responsibilities, industry context and areas of interest.
The blended option combines face-to-face engagement with online learning, creating opportunities to examine leadership challenges with experienced peers, academics and practitioners. Small-group discussion and workplace-informed assessment support the practical application of learning. Students may also access AGSM’s Career Accelerator and alumni community, while the qualification may support progression into eligible AGSM MBA study subject to admission and credit requirements.
