The Master of Cybersecurity (Advanced) is an on-campus postgraduate qualification designed for graduates seeking advanced knowledge and practical capability in cybersecurity. The course explores how organisations can protect digital systems, manage cybersecurity risks and respond to evolving threats while developing the technical and leadership skills required for advanced ICT roles.
Throughout the course, you'll strengthen your ability to analyse cybersecurity challenges, design secure technology solutions and evaluate the impact of cyber risks on organisations and society. The curriculum develops capability across areas such as software and network security, enterprise computing, ethical technology practice and human-centred cybersecurity, while building the critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills needed to implement effective cybersecurity strategies.
Delivered on campus, the course includes 504 hours of Work-Integrated Learning, allowing you to apply your knowledge through industry experience, including internship or industry live brief opportunities and capstone project work. Co-developed with industry-leading ICT practitioners and academics, the course is structured to meet ACS CBOK and CyBOK guidelines. Eligible students receive complimentary ACS and AISA student memberships, supporting engagement with professional cybersecurity networks.

Entry requirements
