The Graduate Certificate in Project Management is a postgraduate qualification consisting of 48 credit points. It is normally completed in six months of full-time study or the equivalent part-time study. The standard annual full-time load at Queensland University of Technology is 96 credit points. Admission requirements include satisfactory completion of a three-year bachelor's degree or equivalent.

This course comprises the four foundational units of the Master of Project Management and provides an entry pathway to the Master of Project Management. Upon graduating from the graduate certificate, you will be eligible for entry into PM20 Master of Project Management with a reduced course duration of one year.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • A recognised bachelor's degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline.
  • A recognised diploma (or higher qualification) in any discipline and at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in project or program management. 
  • At least five years of full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience in project or program management.
