What you will study

To complete the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, you must complete four core units of the MBA program and select a further four units from a list of five MBA option units.

Select four units (24 credit points) from the following options:

  • Data Analysis and Decision Making
  • Accounting for Decision Making
  • Marketing Strategically
  • Understanding and Leading Others
  • Economics in Business

Entry requirements

You must either have a:

  • Recognised bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale) and a minimum of three years full-time post-degree Work experience with a minimum of two years relevant professional work experience and one year of minimum supervisory/management experience; or
  • Recognised postgraduate degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale) and a minimum of three years full-time post-degree work experience with a minimum of two years relevant professional work experience and one year of minimum supervisory/management experience; or
  • Minimum of seven years of work experience with a minimum of six years of relevant professional work experience and one year of supervisory/management experience.

You may also be required to attend an interview with the MBA director or nominee.
