What you will study
To graduate from the Executive Graduate Certificate in Business Administration course, you must successfully complete 48 credit points:
Core units (six credit points each):

Select three units from the following options (six credit points each):
- Data Analysis and Decision Making
- Accounting for Decision Making

Entry requirements
To be eligible for admission to the course, you must have:
- A recognised bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.50 (on QUT's 7-point scale).
- A minimum of five years full-time post-degree work experience with a minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience and a minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience.
OR
- A minimum of nine years full-time work experience with a minimum of six years of relevant professional work experience and a minimum of three years of supervisory/management experience.
If you have relevant work experience, you can submit a current curriculum vitae providing details of your roles, responsibilities and achievements. This allows the university to assess your work experience. Relevant work experience indicates your capacity to contribute to workshop discussions and the wider student body.
Applicants are required to submit responses to the following mandatory reflective questions:
- Motivation to complete the QUT MBA.
- Intended contribution to the cohort.
- Work/life/study balance strategy.
- Current leadership philosophy.
You may also be required to attend an interview with the MBA director or nominee.
