What you will study

The Graduate Diploma of Business consists of eight courses (200 units) comprising:

  • 100 units of credit from four compulsory courses.
  • 100 units of credit from four elective courses.

Compulsory courses

  • Accounting for Managers
  • Ethical Issues in Professional Life
  • Strategic Management and Planning
  • Human Resource Management OR Leadership: Theory and Practice

Electives

  • Any four 5000-6000 level BUSN courses (25 units each).

Entry requirements

Academic requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • A recognised undergraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) or studies sufficient to meet the requirements of that award.
  • A graduate certificate in a business discipline.
  • Where the applicant does not have an undergraduate degree, the Dean may approve admission to this program if the Dean is satisfied that:
    • The applicant has sufficient background and/or experience in management/supervision.
    • The applicant has the skills necessary to complete postgraduate studies.
