Course overview
The Master of Management and Accounting double master's degree will not only develop your management capabilities to inspire those in your organisation to achieve success, but it will also equip you with advanced data analysis and research skills to make better informed decisions. You’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of management theory and practice, and develop key skills across specialist fields of accounting practice that will prepare you for a range of senior leadership roles across private or government sectors.
As part of this two-year program, you’ll build on the critical skills you’re already developing in accounting, research, data analysis and more. Advancing your understanding of specialist fields like accounting information systems and financial accounting, forensic accounting, auditing and management accounting – and how they can positively influence business decision-making. You’ll complete your double degree with a more specialised level of accounting expertise ready to draw on this crucial business discipline in the most up-to-date and innovative ways and drive meaningful, sustainable change in organisations.

What you will study
To complete the Master of Management and Accounting, students must fulfil 16 units (96 credit points), consisting of Master of Management units (48 credit points) and Master of Accounting units (48 credit points).

Entry requirements
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) with a major in accounting with at least a high credit (65 per cent) average or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).
English language requirements
For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements. You can do this by completing one of the qualifications listed on their website.
If you've completed several measures of English proficiency over a period of time, the highest valid measure will be accepted as long as it's been taken within the required time limitations.

Average 2025 first-year fee: $37,100 (domestic full-fee paying place)
All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 24 credit points (normally four units) per semester or 48 credit points (normally eight units) per year.
A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

- The choice of major or specialisation.
- Choice of units.
- Credit from previous study or work experience.
- Eligibility for government-funded loans.
