Course overview
This program will allow you to explore the ideas, practices and theories that have already caught your attention, as you continue to develop your expertise in business disciplines as well as build on general business skills, including leadership and collaboration.
As part of this program, you will select eight units from the wide range of units offered by Monash Business School. Some units are offered outside business hours, or delivered in block mode, so you can balance your work and study. But if you choose to do the program full-time, you can graduate with a Graduate Diploma of Business in just 12 months.

What you will study
To complete the Graduate Diploma of Business, you must complete 8 units (48 credit points).
The course consists of eight units chosen from the wide range of units offered in the coursework master's degrees offered by the Faculty of Business and Economics.
Entry requirements
An Australian bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, or approved pathway, with at least a 55% average or an equivalent GPA. Applicants will be ranked and selected based on their entire academic record.
English language requirements
For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements. You can do this by completing one of the qualifications listed on their website.
If you've completed several measures of English proficiency over a period of time, the highest valid measure will be accepted as long as it's been taken within the required time limitations.

Fees and FEE-HELP
Average 2025 first-year fee: $37,100 (domestic full-fee paying place)
All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 24 credit points (normally four units) per semester or 48 credit points (normally eight units) per year.
A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:
- The number of units studied per term.
- The choice of major or specialisation.
- Choice of units.
- Credit from previous study or work experience.
- Eligibility for government-funded loans.
