What you will study

The course comprises 24 credit points of Artificial Intelligence studies.

Part A. Core Unit

  • Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence

Part B. Specialist units

You must complete three of the following units:

  • Machine Learning
  • Discrete Optimisation
  • Natural Language Processing
  • Intelligent Image and Video Analysis

Entry requirements

An Australian bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with at least a credit (60%) average in a discipline relating to one IT, business (with mathematics), Engineering or Science degree with completed studies in mathematics (including principles and skills in probability, linear algebra and calculus) and Python programming.

English requirements

  • Applicants must meet the English language requirements.

Fees and FEE-HELP

Average 2025 first-year fee: $21,000 (domestic full-fee paying place)

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 24 credit points (normally four units) per semester or 48 credit points (normally eight units) per year.
