Entry requirements
In order to be considered for entry, applicants must have:
- Completed an undergraduate degree of three or four years minimum in any discipline and achieved a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% in the Graduate Certificate in Applied Business Analytics.
OR
- Completed an undergraduate degree of three or four years minimum in one of the following relevant areas; commerce, mathematics and/or physics, computer science or information system, engineering and/or science, taken at a third-year university level from a recognised institution, with a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 65% or equivalent.
- Two years of documented full time professional work experience.
English language requirements
All applicants to the University of Melbourne must satisfy the English language requirements. This may be achieved in a number of ways, including recognised previous study taught and assessed entirely in English or an approved English language test. If you need to undertake an English language test, you must meet one of the scores* below:
- IELTS: Academic English test with a minimum score of 7.0 overall and with no individual band less than 7.0.
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 94 (written score minimum 27 and no individual score lower than 24).
- Pearson: 72 + written communicative skill of 75 and no other communicative skill below 72.
- Cambridge: N/A
Fees and FEE-HELP
Total program fee 2025: $61,800 (domestic full-fee paying place)
This covers all program costs for the three years and can be paid in instalments.
