What you will study
To graduate with a Master of Marketing and Master of Media and Communications, a student must acquire 160 credit points (CP). Each unit is valued at 10 CP, unless otherwise indicated.

Entry requirements
Academic requirements
Applicants can qualify for entry to both courses by fulfilling one of the admission points below for both single degrees:
Master of Marketing
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent.
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, and two years of relevant, approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning.
Master of Media and Communications
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65.
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent and two years relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning.
- An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 and two years relevant approved work experience, professional certification or other recognised prior learning.
Note: Successful admission into the double degree means that you must satisfy the requirements for both of the single degrees.
English language requirements
When applying to study at Macquarie University, you’re required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.

Recognition of Prior Learning
