  • Course Type: Master's

Pair commerce expertise with a global business perspective by combining a chosen specialisation with practical insight into international strategy, trade, finance, marketing and cross-cultural management.

Course overview

Macquarie University’s Master of Commerce and Master of International Business combines specialist commercial expertise with the capabilities needed to understand and operate across international markets. The double degree allows you to shape the Commerce component around your professional interests while developing a broader understanding of global business environments.

Choose a Commerce specialisation in an area such as accounting, economics, artificial intelligence, analytics, finance, management, marketing or supply chain management. Alongside this specialist study, you will explore international strategy, trade, financial management, marketing, global supply chains, human resources and cultural diversity. An International Business Project provides an opportunity to integrate your learning, while an optional supervised internship can connect your studies with workplace experience.

Delivered in person at Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus, the course can be completed in two years of full-time study or the part-time equivalent. You will graduate with two separate master’s degrees and be prepared to pursue opportunities across international business, consulting, finance, marketing, trade, policy and multinational organisations.
