Entry requirements

Academic requirements

Depending on your qualifications, work experience, or other recognised prior learning, you can complete your degree in less time. Applicants can qualify for entry to this degree by fulfilling the admission points below:

2-year program - Foundation zone, Core zone, Flexible zone (160 Credit points)

  • An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent.

1.5-year program - Core zone, Foundation zone (120 Credit points)

  • An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 or higher, a minimum WAM of 60, and a GMAT score of 600 or higher.

1.5-year program - Core zone, Flexible zone (120 Credit points)

You must have one of the following:

  • An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent.
  • An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification or recognised equivalent, and minimum two years of relevant approved work experience, professional certification, or other recognised prior learning.

1-year program - Core zone (80 Credit points)

You must have one of the following:

  • An AQF level 8 bachelor's honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent.
  • Meet two of the following three criteria:
    • An AQF level 7 bachelor's qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent.
    • Two years (full-time equivalent) of work experience, professional certification, or prior recognised learning.
    • An AQF level 7 bachelor’s qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65 or higher, a minimum WAM of 60, and a GMAT score of 600 or higher.

English language requirements

When applying to study at Macquarie University, you must provide evidence of proficiency in English.

Recognition of Prior Learning
