The Master of Business Administration Future Business provides a comprehensive foundation covering core business and management disciplines.

Course overview

This course is the fastest way to complete an MBA. In only 12 months, and with three study periods to choose from, you set the pace. You’ll graduate with skills that could see you embracing leadership roles in organisations including the private sector, government departments, not for profits, international organisations, social enterprises and more.

Real industry experience is a major feature of this fast-tracked course, with up to 26 weeks of experience available through Work Integrated Learning and industry programs. You’ll undertake an industry placement or choose a specialised industry entrepreneurial program, such as the Defence Entrepreneurship Program (DEP).

Flinders is the first university in South Australia to offer the DEP, a landmark program that will see you learn how to use modern innovation tools and techniques to address national security and intelligence issues, and help you create international defence entrepreneurial networks.

Entry requirements

Academic requirements

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • A bachelor honours degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
  • A completed Graduate Diploma in Business Administration or the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration at Flinders University.
  • A completed Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate from another tertiary institution (to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
