What you will study

To complete the Master of Business Analytics, you must earn 240 credit points (CP). It consists of 180 CP of nine core units and you must acquire 60 CP by doing an internship or completing three core option units.

Internship specialisation (30 credit points each)

  • Professional Internship I
  • Professional Internship II

OR

Core option units (20 credit points each)

Entry requirements

Academic requirements

Admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Equivalent prior learning, including at least five years of relevant professional experience.

Alternatively, applicants may apply with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Business Analytics.

English language requirements

English competency requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:

  • IELTS academic overall band minimum score of 6.5 (no individual band less than 6.0).
  • Bachelor's degree from a country specified on the university's English Proficiency Bands page.
  • Completed 0.375 EFTSL of study at postgraduate level or higher at an Australian higher education provider (or equivalent).
  • Where accepted, equivalent prior learning, including at least five years of relevant professional experience.
  • Other tests, courses or programs defined on the university's English Proficiency Bands page.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applicants with a Graduate Certificate qualification or higher in Business Analytics may seek reduced course duration by applying for recognition of prior learning. Special entry may be considered for students with a cognate bachelor's degree in business analytics who can apply for a reduced course duration.
