This is an ideal postgraduate degree for professionals who want to specialise or upskill in a particular area of commerce. Business professionals may also be eligible for credit for recognised learning (CRL) and their master's degree in just one year.

Your studies also include several transformative experiences and capstone units:

  • Corporate Sustainability Immersion: This is a work-integrated learning experience, in which you’ll participate in an industry-connected business innovation project centred on sustainable development and social impact.
  • Wicked Problems: In this unit, you’ll explore multifaceted real-world challenges with global, community and individual repercussions.
  • Executive Education: Choose five one-day masterclasses (or equivalent) focused on training in leadership, strategy, innovation, negotiation, communication, or digital transformation.
  • Capstone Experience: This unit may comprise an internship, consultancy experience, research project or international study tour. In addition to growing your business acumen and skill sets, capstone experiences help you develop particular industry knowledge and networks.

Students must select the Pre-Major discipline-specific alternate core unit in their first 100 credits of study before commencing their major of choice, as noted below:

  • Finance Major students must select FNCE5008 Finance Principles and Analysis.
  • Human Resources Major students must select MGMT5001 Human Resource Development.
  • Marketing Major students must select MKTG5005 Marketing Management.
  • Supply Chain Management Major students must select MGMT5045 Foundations of Supply Chain Management.
  • Information Systems and Technology Major students must select ISYS5002 Introduction to Programming.

Entry requirements

A bachelor's degree in any field of study from a recognised tertiary institution.

English language requirements

Fees and FEE-HELP

Indicative 2025 first-year fee: $33,404 (domestic full-fee paying place).

All costs are calculated using current rates and are based on a study load of 100 credit points (normally four units) per semester or 200 credit points (normally eight units) per year.

A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:

  • The number of units studied per term. 
  • The choice of major or specialisation.
  • Choice of units. 
  • Credit from previous study or work experience.
  • Eligibility for government-funded loans.
