Curtin University’s Graduate Diploma in Project Management is designed for professionals seeking broad, transferable project management capability. Building on foundational project processes, the course develops the knowledge and confidence required to manage projects and lead teams across different industries.

You will examine project planning, cost and time management alongside the people-focused aspects of project delivery. Further study in quality, risk, procurement and program and portfolio management strengthens your ability to evaluate project challenges, coordinate resources and support successful outcomes.

The course forms part of Curtin’s nested project management pathway. You can enter after completing the Graduate Certificate in Project Management and may subsequently progress to the Master of Science (Project Management). Your final unit choice may determine whether you are eligible for the master’s Professional or Research Stream.

Delivered on campus at Curtin Perth, the course can be completed in one year of full-time study or an equivalent part-time period. English language requirements

Curtin requires applicants to demonstrate English language proficiency. You can meet this requirement by providing evidence of one of the following:

  • An IELTS Academic overall band score of 6.5, with a minimum score of 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
  • An alternative English language test accepted by Curtin, provided you achieve the required equivalent scores.
