The Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership from Charles Sturt University develops knowledge and skills in organisational coaching and leadership. Delivered online over 0.5 years full-time or the equivalent part-time, the course provides a flexible pathway to explore organisational coaching theory, practice and methods while strengthening leadership capabilities for professional practice.
Throughout the course, you will examine organisational coaching and leadership theories, develop coaching and facilitation skills, and strengthen your ability to communicate effectively, apply reflective judgement and support ethical decision-making. You will also explore leadership approaches, practice-based coaching interventions and the role of coaching in supporting organisational change, staff commitment and organisational goals.
The course incorporates the IECL Coach Training Program curriculum as part of its coaching component and provides opportunities to further develop leadership capabilities through elective study. The IECL Coach Training Program is aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) curriculum, and students who complete the ACTP program may apply for ICF credentialing, subject to the ICF's requirements.

What you will study
To earn the Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership, you must successfully complete units totalling 32 credit points, as detailed below. Unless otherwise noted, each course is worth 8 credit points.
Credit only; based on completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Level 1 Certification and completion of IECL Organisational Coaching Level 2 Certification.

Academic requirements
- Applicants must have relevant professional attainment/work experience PLUS an undergraduate degree from a recognised Australian tertiary institution (or equivalent) and/or enrolment in/completion of relevant IECL subjects.
- Applicants may also be considered based on appropriate professional attainment and/or work experience alone.
English language requirements
For postgraduate coursework courses, applicants must have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last two years with:
- A minimum overall score of 6.0.
- No individual score below 6.0.
