By studying for your Graduate Diploma in Project Management, you will undertake coursework that explores project management principles based on recognised international standards, guidelines, and frameworks. Relevant and practical case studies examine examples of different project domains.
Each case study will enable you to explore the application of project management closely aligned with your chosen career path. The units develop technical skills in the initiation, bidding, tendering, planning, design, procurement, execution, reporting, commissioning, handover and post-project support of projects. Human skills in stakeholder management, communication, team building, negotiation and the support of ongoing professional career development are integrated into the coursework material and assessments.
You will develop skills to further your project management career and pursue other disciplines such as business, engineering, health and information and communications technology (ICT).

What you will study
To earn the Graduate Diploma of Project Management, you must complete seven core units and one elective unit.

Students can select one unit from the two units listed below. Students who intend to continue their studies in the Master of Project Management are highly encouraged to take the Research Proposal unit which is a core unit in the master's course in order to enrol smoothly in the second year of the program.
