Throughout the course, you will develop knowledge across leadership, entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, social innovation and organisational culture. The curriculum draws on units from CQUniversity's Master of Business Administration (Leadership), providing contemporary, industry-relevant learning that helps you understand business innovation, lead people effectively and respond to organisational challenges with an entrepreneurial mindset.

On successful completion, you will graduate with the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Eligible students may complete the qualification fee-free through CQUniversity's Graduate Guarantee, while graduates can continue their studies through a pathway into the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Leadership) or the Master of Business Administration (Leadership).

What you will study

To earn the Graduate Certificate in in Leadership and Entrepreneurship, you must successfully complete units totalling 24 credit points as detailed below. Unless otherwise noted, each course is worth 6 credit points.

Entry requirements

To apply to study the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Entrepreneurship for free under the Graduate Guarantee, you must:

  • Graduated with an undergraduate degree from CQUniversity in 2022 or later.
  • Have been looking for employment in your discipline of study for at least six months following your graduation.
  • Have not gained full or part-time employment in your discipline of study.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Portfolium / LinkedIn profile.
  • Provide a statutory declaration that the above is true.

You must apply between six and 12 months after graduation and complete your free Graduate Certificate within 12 months of commencement. If you need to take longer, you can purchase any remaining units after twelve months.

Graduates can apply the knowledge and skills they learn in this course in disruption and entrepreneurship, human resources, marketing, and social and business innovation to their current work in organisational settings or to new initiatives requiring an innovation mindset. Students can also apply for the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Leadership) or MBA (Leadership) for further extension at higher levels of study.
