Course overview
The Master of Project Management program provides a comprehensive business-ready foundation that will equip students from any background with the knowledge required to develop a career and expertise in project management.
The course features four distinct study themes including strategy, sustainability, managing complex problems and teams and virtual teams and global working. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including conflict resolution, effective integrated planning, management, market performance, portfolio management, public and private sector investment and risk identification. External speakers from leading investment banks, credit agencies and portfolio fund managers contribute to case studies and workshops.
Graduates will be equipped with the critical professional skills employers seek in communication, leadership, team management, negotiation and risk management and can apply these skills via predicative, adaptive and hybrid ways of working.

What you will study
To graduate with a Master of Project Management, you must complete 120 credit points. This comprises 90 credit points of compulsory subjects and 30 credit points of general electives.
Required subjects
Students must complete the following ninety credit points of subjects.

- Expert Witness and Dispute Resolution
- Risk Management
- Principles of Project Management
- Project Finance and Procurement
- Project Portfolio and Program Management
- Project Resource Planning
- Research Project (20 credit points)
General electives
Students must choose 30 credit points of postgraduate subjects from across the university that are available as general electives.
Entry requirements
To be considered for admission to this degree, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of a recognised bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field.
Note: This program is not available to graduates of Bond's Bachelor of Project Management. Students should consider taking the Master of Project Innovation as an alternative.
If you don't currently hold the required academic qualifications, there are alternative pathways. You may use prior work experience to apply for entry into this program. To do so, you will need to provide documentation of your employment history, including a statement from your employer about your position, time in the role and a brief overview of the role you performed.
Recognition of Prior Learning
If you have completed previous tertiary studies, you may be able to gain credit for previous subjects. To apply, you will need to submit your academic transcripts to the Office of Future Students, including detailed subject outlines or course descriptions for each relevant subject.
