What you will study
The Graduate Certificate of Applied Data Analytics requires the completion of 24 units, which must consist of:
- A minimum of six units from the Computing list.
- A minimum of six units from the Statistics list.
- A maximum of six units from the Sociology list.

Entry requirements
Applicants must present one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree with honours or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0/7.0, with at least one year of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0.
The GPA for a Bachelor program will be calculated from (i) a completed Bachelor degree using all grades and/or (ii) a completed Bachelor degree using all grades other than those from the last semester (or equivalent study period) of the Bachelor degree. The higher of the two calculations will be used as the basis for admission.

- Apply basic technical expertise in computer programming, databases and statistical data analysis to solve data analytics problems.
- Contribute as an effective member to the performance of a data analytics workplace.
- Be able to work to specification and according to a deadline, document tasks undertaken and report outcomes to a third party.
Fees and FEE-HELP
Annual indicative fee in 2025: $19,965 (domestic full-fee paying place)
The annual indicative fee for a program is based on the standard full-time enrolment load of 48 units per year (unless the program duration is less than 48 units).
A student’s annual fee may vary in accordance with:
- The number of units studied per term.
- The choice of major or specialisation.
- Choice of units.
- Credit from previous study or work experience.
- Eligibility for government-funded loans.
All students are required to pay a services and amenities fee.
